the staff was very gentle and gave us advice about moving around. they allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel even after checkout. the location is excellent, near the historic center! the ferry terminal to mainland china is also nearby.
the room smelled faintly of smoke! it was not overwhelming, but definitely noticeable upon entering. this affected the overall freshness of the room.

the hotel is very close to many tourist attractions. many restaurants are nearby, a bus stop is a couple minutes walk away. the bus station is easily accessible for exploring the area.

the room had a clean, decent feel, though it was small. this size is suitable for a single occupant or a couple who doesn't mind cozy spaces.

there is no elevator. this can be a challenge with disabilities or heavy luggage. the entrance involves navigating several steps, which might be difficult with bags.

The location was great I could easily walk to many restaurants and cafes. A bus stop WAS right outside the hotel.
The room was a little small AND we had difficulty opening our suitcases.
